Salacia Oblonga ( or Saptrangi, Ponkoranti ), is a woody plant
found in the forests of Srilanka and India. The Roots and
stems of Salacia Oblonga have been used extensively in
Ayurveda and traditional Indian Medicine for the treatment for
Diabetes.
